Tonight was the fourth installment of our St. Charles Youth Group Bible study. It went really nicely tonight! A record number of people, perhaps.
The topic was: Mary and the Saints. We discussed Mary’s role in the Church and in our lives, which involved the reality that Mary is the Mother of God, the perpetual virginity of Mary, and the Assumption. We also talked about intercessory prayer and the importance of the communion of saints.
I shared in the handout I created this photo of a beautiful mural from Holy Rosary Church in Baltimore. It depicts so nicely the Church Triumphant, the Church Suffering, and the Church Militant.
I was very surprised when I walked in and saw how many people were already there. It was nice to see so many…especially so many who had not come before. I think it went really well.
At the same time I missed having the smaller group, well at least when it came to playing ultimate afterwords.

I thought it was awesome how many came. I was very pleased with the turnout. And I'm glad there were enough people playing ultimate that people didn't realize I wasn't playing myself!
Liz:
It is fantastic! It is just beautiful. Methinks I will make it my background, too!

Really great turnout, I heard!
Thank you for doing this all summer just about..Mike. As a parent of some of the young people attending, it means very much that there are some things for AFTER Confirmation ongoing too. God bless.
