Dominican sisters to appear on Oprah special

Here’s some news. Let’s make sure to set our VCRs for Feb. 9. I wonder what will be discussed. I am both happy and surprised to see this.

The Dominican sisters, a solid group of nuns, are doing Mother Church well and vocations are flourishing.

True Orthodoxy=Vocations

True Orthodoxy=Thy will be done

Please take this moment to offer a prayer for this occasion, that the sister quoted below may have her prayer answered, that this will be “for God’s greater glory.”

The sisters will do their part. We’ll see if Oprah does hers.

Here’s the brief story:

I’ve received word from my sources that the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor MI will be featured on the mega-popular Oprah Winfrey show on February 9th — the 13th anniversary of this new Dominican community of religious sisters.

I have no doubt the sisters will do us proud. One of the sisters asked that we pray that “this all be for God’s greater glory and the salvation of souls!”
