The “acts” of the apostles we find in our first reading from Acts 12 are some of the acts of the early church….must be our “acts” now too:

• The word continued to spread and grow
• Relief missions
• prophets and teachers are chosen
• worshiping the Lord
• fasting
• Listening to the Holy Spirit, dialogue with him
• laying on of hands
• sending forth, mission
• proclaiming of the word
• journeys…
