Daily homily thoughts, 11/27

Today’s second reading in Matins by St Augustine: “You are like a piece of pottery, shaped by instruction, fired by tribulation. When you are put into the oven therefore, keep your thoughts on the time when you will be taken out again; for God is faithful, and he will guard both your going in and your coming out.”

Folks – here we are at the Adoration Summit of the Batesville Deanery! When we go into an adoration chapel, we go into an oven, into a kiln…. he shapes us, he purifies us, he transforms us…he sets us on fire!
