A man interrupted Pope Francis’ audience yesterday in Rome and shouted from the back of the room “This is not the Church of God!” The man waved a medical mask in his hand as he shouted. Police removed him, and Pope Francis concluded the audience by praying for the man. “I would like to end by praying for him, for our brother who is suffering, poor man, because if he was shouting, it is because he is suffering,” Francis said. “Let’s not be deaf to the needs of this brother.”
