REJOICE always – it is the call of our readings today

Rejoice because we have the same God we hear about in the Gospel: the blind regain their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have the good news proclaimed to them.

That SAME Jesus God with us is in the HOST in our chapel, in the tabernacle, and will comet o this altar..with all this same powers!

Why do so many have a hard time rejoicing? We fail to see our disappointments from an eternal perspective ….

St Philip Neri was the apostle of Rome…Rome was in ruins, had been sacked, spiritual runis, etc…..and yet he went around singing songs about God…. He knew God was with him in the Eucharist….started 40 hours…

Mary: Why are you so sad? Am I not your mother? Do you not have Christ?
